This album contains two duo sets by Seiichi Yamamoto, Wamei and sara from the Taiwanese artist Chang Teng-Yuan's solo exhibition "Multiplication" held at Gallery Nomart in autumn 2022. The second track, Yamamoto Seiichi & sara's resonance with percussion instruments, guitar and piano, is like a hardcore iaiai. Yasushi Utsunomiya, a musician and music producer who has developed his own musical theory for each project such as After Dinner and Shonen Knife, and is renowned as a "genius of sound" and a "magician of recording", has created the sound images of two sets of live performances using his groundbreaking new microphone "BAROm1" and recording system, The sound image of the two sets on the day of the live performance was presented with astonishing resolution and spatiality. This is the third album in the 'Utsunomia MIX' series of three simultaneous releases, including this one, that showcases the true value of Utsunomia's music to the world.
2022年秋にギャラリーノマルで開催された台湾人作家Chang Teng-Yuan個展「Multiplication」空間で開催された、山本精一、 Wamei、各人とsaraとのデュオ2セットを収録。1曲目のWamei&saraは電子音とアコースティックサウンドの位相がもたらす摩訶不思議な 没入感凄まじく、2曲目の山本精一&saraの打楽器そしてギター&ピアノによる共振は、さながらハードコアな居合い。 音楽家/音楽プロデューサーとしてアフターディナー、少年ナイフ等、プロジェクト毎に独自の音楽理論を展開し「音響の奇才」「レコーディングの 魔術師」として名高い宇都宮泰が、ライブ当日の2セットの音像を、自身の画期的な新作マイク「BAROm1」と録音システムを駆使し、驚異 の解像度と空間性で提示した。 本作を含む3枚同時リリースの「Utsunomia MIX」シリーズ第3弾として、真価を世に問うアルバム。
