...and I bent down as if out of tenderness (Limited edision cassette tape)

from Sarry

A cassette tape reissue of a collaborative work by Fuji-Yuki and Dimitris Tsironis, released digitally on the Greek experimental music label 1tracktape in April 2022.
Fujii-Yuki reads a poem by Greek poet Kostas Karyotakis, translated into Japanese, and Dimitris Tsironis reads a poem by Japanese poet Nakahara Nakaya, translated into Greek, each using the other's reading to create a song, It is a conceptual album.
Wamei from Sarry was also involved in the production, and his avant-garde style of field recordings, ambient drones and noise makes the album exciting to listen to as well as the concept.
For the cassette tape reissue, the recorded material has been re-mixed in mono (stereo for the download version). The cassette tape comes in a limited edition packaging with a folding screen art card created based on the world of the poem.

about

Sarry Japan

Sarry is ethereal drone duo consisting of FUJI-YUKI (voice) and Wamei (bass).
Through FUJI-YUKI's softly screamed vocals, gently echoing into madness, and Wamei's bass, which reaches for the innermost depths of the human heart, Sarry's music named "Ethereal drone" - at times incantational, at times narrative - explores the occult realm of sound that connects this world to the next. ... more
